It's really up to you to decide which effect you want. For pvp I would suggest either Water or Nature. For dungeons you can use anything.

For snipers, is the magic DMG atribute important for their arrow attacks? is it important to stack magic and physical dmg?

Most definitely magic attack is important for sniping ranger/grand archer. It determines the damage that your arrows do, and the damage of many of your skills. Physical damage is used for your melee attack, which is helpful, but your main focus should be on magic attack. Hope this helps!
